Description
- Primary plastics engineer for injection molding projects with include quoting, tooling, materials, processing and manufacturing secondary operations.
- Daily contact with sales, quality, manufacturing, tooling and assembly operations.
- Direct customer interfacing on engineering projects.
- Has engineering responsibility for all phases of molding projects.
- Manages multiple projects including new tools, transfer tools, modifications and design changes.
- Manages customers, internal resources and vendors diplomatically and effectively.
- Reviews part designs with customer and offers design advice as needed.
- Responsible for part design for manufacturing.
- Runs engineering design reviews and is responsible for mold performance.
- Is either directly or indirectly involved in processes development for new tools.
- Represents the company in front of customers without support.
- Develops part and tooling quotes for new projects re-designs and refurbishments.
- Direct interface with the customer and Hy-Ten-Ten Quality.
- Communication and leadership skills substantiated through demonstrated ability or prior work experience.

Skills
- Five-years experience in the injection molding industry.
- Two-years experience as a project engineer.
- Strong processing experience (2+ years as a processor).
- Experience with automation (especially for high-volume parts).
- CAD, MASTER CAM & SOLID WORKS KNOWLEDGE is a must.
